TM Productions produces live broadcasts across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York City. Most rooms end up booking a broadcast team for the stream and then a video team for the marketing footage, which is two call sheets and two invoices for the same eight hours. We just expand the broadcast crew so it covers both.

01 The consolidation

Why you only need one crew.

Most events hire a broadcast team to run the stream and then a separate video team to pick up marketing footage. That's two call sheets, two invoices and two sets of people tripping over each other in the same room.

We expand the broadcast coverage so it doubles as the marketing capture. Two locked cameras plus a roaming operator gets you the live show, the b-roll, the reaction shots and the pull quote you'll end up cutting the recap around. It costs less than two teams, and the footage is better because the roamer isn't fighting somebody else's tripod for position.

That exact move is how the Figure 8 Digital roundtable in Manhattan came in at $3,700 instead of two separate quotes.
